Good Manners

Most small/young children do not pay as much attention to their surroundings (i.e. very small animals behind them) as they should. The other night Kaitlyn was rolling around and just about squished little Truly. I was having a snack and had tell her to stop because she had just about hurt the little dog. I was giving her this long drawn out lecture about paying attention and being more careful because there were others around her that could get hurt. I was very impressed at how well she was listening and paying very close attention. I finished my lecture and she looks at me and says "Mom, you shouldn't talk with food in your mouth!" I tried to say something in response to this but I couldn't - She had a valid point.
